Bergamo in the past

The History Museum of Bergamo, located in the S. Francesco Monastery, collects the most significant testimonies of the history of the town and its provinces from the second half of the 18th century to the second World War. Visitors can travel over three centuries of history through pictures, texts, and objects arranged didactically (21 didactic forms are available). At present only the section devoted to the Risorgimento is open.

This site, gives detailed information about the Museum, shows the exposition itinerary, introduces the exhibitions and the historical demonstrations held in Bergamo, enables the user to send messages to the Direction by E- mail and to consult library and archives.
